Portrait painting has in time become a greater niche in Lene Schmidt-Petersen's artistic activities. Thus she has portrayed both mayors, private persons and corporate associates.
Before beginning a portrait she talks with the person to be portrayed to get an impression of the personality and the psyche of the person. In this way she is able to picture the essentials about the person and what must be emphazied in the portrait.
